All content and photographs are subject to copyright and owned exclusively by Laylita.com and Layla Pujol, unless otherwise stated. If you wish to use any photo(s) and/or content from this site, you must contact me for permission first. You may not publish any content from this site without my written consent. This also applies to my Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest, Flickr, Instagram, and any other social media accounts.
On a case by case basis, I might allow a photo to be republished, online only – no print or commercial use, as long as permission was previously obtained and there is a working link back to the original post from which the recipe was taken. The entire post/partial post+ photo(s) cannot be republished. Also, this doesn’t mean that all the photos can be republished on one site, it’s fine to use a few photos here and there, but don’t cross the line. I also maintain the right to withdraw the permission at any time and ask for the removal of my photos/recipes for any reason.
I don’t want to come across as unreasonable, but I’ve seen so many of my photos and recipes published on different sites, without any attribution to the original source, and it is very frustrating. Especially as in some cases, it is done by large recipe aggregator sites or even well-known news sites in Ecuador. Recently I was watching a cooking show on an Ecuadorian channel and noticed that they are using my photos without permission in their intro. I’ve also experienced going to restaurants in Ecuador and finding my photos all over their menus with my photos. On the one hand it’s flattering to see that something you’ve done is so popular, but it’s also unfair to not get proper credit for the work you do.

Hello, I was browsing through your incredible website of delicious-looking recipes and decided to save your site to my Pintrest account. AFTER I liked it for Pintrest, I read your statement about using your site on social media. I hope I haven’t done anything wrong, but, if so, please let me know. I believe you could contact me through Pintrest using my name Marlit Stansell.
Again, apologies if I wasn’t supposed to share. Thank you. Marlit
Hi Marlit – If you pin directly from the site it creates a link back to the site, which is encouraged.
The copyright policy is intended for those that download my photos, upload them to their own site and pass them as their own linking back to a site with plagiarized photos/recipes on Pinterest, Instagram, FB.
