Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich
This melty, cheesy and spicy grilled cheese sandwich is made with jalapeños, cream cheese, white cheddar cheese, butter and crispy bread.

Cream Cheese
softened to room temperature

teaspoon
Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Jalapeños
finely diced

Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
freshly shredded

Unsalted Butter
divided

Thick Slices of Bread
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and spices (garlic powder and onion powder).
Next, stir in the finely diced jalapeños and shredded or grated cheese.
Spread ½ tablespoon of butter on each slice of bread.
Top half of the slices of bread with half of the cream cheese jalapeño mixture.
Then place the other slice of bread, butter side up, on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Cook on in a hot skillet over medium heat until golden, about 3-4 minutes, flip and cook again until golden, another 3-4 minutes.
Cut each grilled cheese sandwich in half, serve warm, and enjoy!
