Ingredients
8ouncesof mango pulp or chunksfrom about 2 mangoes
½cupof lime juicefrom 4-5 limes
½cupof cold water
½cupsugaradjust to taste
8-12ounces1 cup to 1 ½ cups of hot pepper infused spicy tequila (store bought or homemade), add more or less based on your preference
¼ to ½cupof orange liqueurCointreau, Triple Sec, Grand Marnier, adjust to taste
Ice
To garnish:
Tajin or lime chili salt for decorating rims
Lime slices
Sliced serrano or jalapeño hot peppers
Instructions
Combine the mango, lime juice, water, sugar, spicy tequila, orange liqueur, and some ice in a blender.
Blend until you have a smooth drink, strain if desired. Taste and adjust the amount of sugar and/or alcohol to taste.
Place a few tablespoons of Tajin or lime chili salt mix on a small flat plate, moisten the rims of the cocktail glasses with a slice of lime, turn the glass upside down and then gently dip the rim and swirl it around in the Tajin mix until the rim is coated.
Pour the spicy mango margaritas into the cocktail glasses and serve immediately.
