Le climat est continental, chaud l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 et froid l\u2019hiver avec beaucoup de neige. Elle servait ce plat dans ses restaurants et apr\u00e8s \u00e0 la maison lorsqu&rsquo;elle prit sa retraite. Je me rappelle encore de l\u2019odeur du gratin quand j\u2019avais 9 ou 10 ans. Lors du retour de l\u2019\u00e9cole et en ouvrant la porte on avait une id\u00e9e de ce qu\u2019on aller manger et cela a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er l\u2019ambiance d\u2019un doux foyer. Une premi\u00e8re m\u00e9thode consiste \u00e0 enfourner les pommes de terre crues avec le reste des ingr\u00e9dients directement dans le four. L&rsquo;autre pr\u00e9paration demande de cuire les pommes de terre en casserolle d&rsquo;abord, puis d&rsquo;enfourner le tout.
