Uno de mis recuerdos favoritos en torno a esta receta de mejillones era cuando yo era un ni\u00f1o y mi padre me llev\u00f3 a una comida con un socio de negocios (que m\u00e1s tarde se convertir\u00eda en un gran amigo de la familia). Las ostras por ejemplo se puede preparar para una fiesta con muchas personas &#8211; o simplemente para una o dos personas, especialmente considerando el trabajo de abrir cada ostra. En cambio los mejillones normalmente se venden en cantidades grandes y es f\u00e1cil prepararlas en una olla grande para un grupo de personas. Los mejillones al vino blanco se sirven acompa\u00f1ados de papas fritas y\/o un buen trozo de pan.
