Hab\u00eda un peque\u00f1o local de comida r\u00e1pida llamado Soda Bar donde se vend\u00edan las salchipapas m\u00e1s ricas de la ciudad. Hab\u00edan muchos otros locales que vend\u00edan papas fritas, pero estas eran las mejores y las m\u00e1s populares \u2013 en gran parte era por la salsa rosada con la que serv\u00edan las salchipapas. Las serv\u00edan en vasitos de pl\u00e1stico desechables y la salsa era tan rica que la mayor\u00eda de personas pagaba extra para que les den salchipapas con doble salsa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">La salsa era tan adictiva que al final que cuando ya te hab\u00edas terminado las papas fritas, te levantabas el vaso para tomar lo que quedaba de la salsa. El Soda Bar quedaba justo en el centro de la ciudad, al frente del parque Santo Domingo, y a unas cuadras de mi colegio. La obsesi\u00f3n por estas deliciosas salchipapas era tanta que ten\u00eda amigas que dejaban sus joyas en prendas a cambio de estas papas fritas. As\u00ed que decid\u00ed preparar mi propia variaci\u00f3n de la salsa rosada para las salchipapas. No es exactamente igual, y hay mucha especulaci\u00f3n acerca del \u201cingrediente secreto\u201d \u2013 y claro he recibido innumerables consejos y sugerencias bien intencionadas acerca de que m\u00e1s ponerle a la salsa (incluso de personas que nunca han probado la original). En uno de los \u00faltimos viajes a Loja, los lleve a mis hijos a probar las famosas papitas del Soda. No recuerdo el nombre del lugar, quedaba al lado de mi colegio (Marianitas), pero le dec\u00edamos las papas de la Gorda. Lo que me gustaba de estas papas fritas es que las serv\u00edan con curtido de tomate y cebolla. Por esta raz\u00f3n decid\u00ed acompa\u00f1ar mi versi\u00f3n casera de las mejores salchipapas del mundo con cebollas encurtidas, la salsa rosada (obviamente), y si le gusta lo picante con un poco class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Agregue sal al gusto y la leche, la cual ayuda a que la mayonesa mantenga ese color blanco.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-10018-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Transfiera la mayor parte de la mayonesa a un bol, y ponga los tomates picados en la class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Licue los tomates hasta obtener un pur\u00e9, vuelva a poner la mayonesa del bol y lic\u00faelo con el pur\u00e9 de tomate hasta que todo est\u00e9 bien
