En los EE.UU., se puede encontrar chicha en algunas de las tiendas de productos latinos, en caso de no encontrar chicha se puede remplazar con cerveza. Me encantan marinar y cocinar la carne (pollo, chancho, res, etc.) con chicha. Mi inspiraci\u00f3n para esta receta de pavo asado viene del <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a title=\"Reeeta del hornado de chancho\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/2008\/03\/05\/hornado-de-chancho\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">hornado de chancho<\/span><\/a><\/span>, otro plato t\u00edpico de la gastronom\u00eda ecuatoriana, el cual tambi\u00e9n se suele preparar durante esta \u00e9poca de fiestas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>En Ecuador se acostumbra usar manteca de chancho o manteca de cerdo cuando se necesita usar grasa. Me encanta cocinar con manteca de cerdo, pero siento que el sabor de la manteca puede dominar el sabor del pavo, y tambi\u00e9n tengo algunos amigos que no comen carne de chancho. Se recomienda usar un term\u00f3metro de cocina para verificar la temperatura de la carne de pavo y la temperatura del relleno, ambos deben estar a 165F para estar completamente cocidos.
