Estos deliciosas frituras se sirven acompa\u00f1ados con <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a title=\"Receta la miel de panela\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/2012\/12\/18\/miel-de-panela\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">miel de panela<\/span><\/a><\/span> o miel de ca\u00f1a. Por lo general, tienen la forma de una corona, pero dependiendo de qui\u00e9n los prepara que pueden tener formas diferentes. Los pristi\u00f1os son algo similares a los tradicionales bu\u00f1uelos, un postre muy popular en Nochebuena en Espa\u00f1a y muchos pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recipes\/pristinos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Recipe in English<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las principales diferencias entre los pristi\u00f1os y los bu\u00f1uelos es que los pristi\u00f1os se hacen con polvo de hornear mientras los bu\u00f1uelos se hacen con levadura. La masa de los bu\u00f1uelo es tambi\u00e9n una poco m\u00e1s liquida. En Ecuador, ambos se sirven con miel de panela, y los bu\u00f1uelos tambi\u00e9n se pueden hacer con harina de ma\u00edz o con yuca.<\/p>\n\n\n<a href=\"#wprm-recipe-container-9102\" data-recipe=\"9102\" style=\"color: #333333;\" class=\"wprm-recipe-jump wprm-recipe-link wprm-jump-to-recipe-shortcode wprm-block-text-normal\">Saltar a la receta<\/a>\n\n\n<p>Cuando mi esposo prob\u00f3 los pristi\u00f1os por primera vez me dijo que le recordaba a una masa frita francesa que se llama bugnes \u2013 lo cual me suena muy parecido a bu\u00f1uelos. En Francia estas frituras se comen durante Carnaval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Receta de la <a title=\"Receta para miel de panela\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/2012\/12\/18\/miel-de-panela\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">miel de panela<\/a><br>Receta del <a title=\"Receta del dulce de higos\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/2008\/10\/13\/dulce-de-higos\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">dulce de higos<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esto, a su vez, me record\u00f3 a algunos pasteles fritos llamados chiacchiere que mi amiga italiana Rossana suele preparar durante la \u00e9poca de Carnaval. Es probable que exista una conexi\u00f3n entre estas frituras europeas y las que tenemos en Latinoam\u00e9rica. Siempre es interesante ver c\u00f3mo cada pa\u00eds (o regi\u00f3n) le imparte su propio toque distintivo a un plato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Pristi\u00f1os con miel de panela\" width=\"534\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pristi\u00f1os-con-miel.jpg\" alt=\"Pristi\u00f1os con miel\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los pristi\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n se pueden acompa\u00f1ar con <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a title=\"Receta para el dulce de higos\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/2008\/10\/13\/dulce-de-higos\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">dulce de higos<\/span><\/a><\/span> o higos confitados en miel de panela. La masa para pristi\u00f1os es muy f\u00e1cil de preparar, como siempre me gusta simplificar la preparaci\u00f3n y use el procesador de alimentos para preparar la masa \u2013 pero aun a mano es una masa f\u00e1cil de hacer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La masa es ligeramente especiada con canela, clavo de olor y an\u00eds. Las especias se pueden a\u00f1adir directamente a la masa (molidas, con la excepci\u00f3n del an\u00eds), o el m\u00e9todo m\u00e1s tradicional es hervir el agua con las especias y entonces usar esa agua condimentada para la masa. He preparado los pristi\u00f1os de ambas maneras y salen casi iguales, pero me gusta un poquito m\u00e1s como quedan con el agua hervida las especias. Como buena ecuatoriana tambi\u00e9n le agrego un poco de aguardiente o punta a la masa, se puede remplazar el aguardiente con ron o si prefiere no usar alcohol, se puede usar m\u00e1s del agua con especias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n quer\u00eda probar alternativas m\u00e1s saludables a fre\u00edr para la cocci\u00f3n de los pristi\u00f1os. Intente hornear los pristi\u00f1os y en realidad, quedan mucho mejor cuando se fr\u00eden. Pierden la ligereza y la masa se endurece al hornearse. De todas maneras voy a incluir las instrucciones para hornearlos en caso de que alguien los tenga que preparar as\u00ed &#8211; pero mi recomendaci\u00f3n es siempre fre\u00edrlos al menos de que no quede otra opci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La miel de panela o piloncillo se condimenta con canela y clavo de olor, pero tambi\u00e9n me gusta darle un toque extra de canela y espolvorearlos con un poco de canela molida.
