La fanesca es una comida que fomenta el sentido de comunidad, no es un plato complicado pero si requiere de una buena cantidad de trabajo, y el compartir ese trabajo de preparaci\u00f3n ayuda a que \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En cada familia la suelen preparar a su gusto: la cantidad de bacalao seco y se pone todo en la fanesca o si se sirve en cada plato, los adornos o guarniciones, la mezcla de granos y porotos (frijoles), si usan solo leche o el caldo\/agua donde se cocinan las legumbres, etc. Lo m\u00e1s importante es encontrar ese balance y armon\u00eda en los ingredientes para que sea un class=\"MsoNormal\">Esta deliciosa sopa lleva muchos granos frescos, algunos de los cuales solo se encuentran en los Andes, como es un poco dif\u00edcil encontrar todos los granos frescos que se necesitan si uno vive fuera del Ecuador se pueden reemplazar con granos congelado (en el caso de las habas, arvejas, entre otros) o secos (porotos). Ecuador y Sudam\u00e9rica tienen una variedad incre\u00edble de porotos. Todos los granos se cocinan por separado, con excepci\u00f3n de los chochos, que se a\u00f1aden durante los \u00faltimos 5 minutos de cocci\u00f3n.
