Simplemente se hierven las cortezas y el n\u00facleo de la pi\u00f1a con agua, panela o piloncillo, y especias. Recuerdo que mi mama siempre preparaba chicha de pi\u00f1a, nos encantaba y por lo general lo termin\u00e1bamos muy pronto. La chicha de ma\u00edz o chicha de jora se preparaba tradicionalmente masticando el ma\u00edz y luego dej\u00e1ndola fermentar en una olla de barro con especias y panela \u2013 la saliva ayuda al proceso de fermentaci\u00f3n. Por suerte (y por higiene), ahora la chicha de ma\u00edz se prepara moliendo los granos de ma\u00edz. La chicha preparada con ingredientes como arroz, avena o frutas como pi\u00f1a por lo general no se deja fermentar o solo se fermenta ligeramente. En EEUU se lo puede encontrar en la mayor\u00eda de tiendas de productos latinos. En caso de no encontrar panela se puede usar az\u00facar morena en su lugar. Luego agregue la otra mitad de cortezas y el n\u00facleo crudo &#8211; d\u00e9jelos reposar en una olla tapada a temperatura ambiente o 60F durante un d\u00eda y luego refrigere hasta que se fermente (obviamente hay riesgo de que la pina se pudra \u2013 as\u00ed que evite consumirlo si se empieza a podrir). La chicha de pi\u00f1a se sirve fr\u00eda, en especial en los d\u00edas calurosos, pero durante los d\u00edas de frio tambi\u00e9n se puede servir bien caliente.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
