Los secos se pueden preparar con diferentes tipos de carnes o aves. La carne se cocina a fuego lento en una salsa espesa que suele llevar cerveza o chicha, jugo de fruta, ajo, cebolla, tomate, hierbitas y especias. Recuerdo que mi mama siempre compraba tamarindo para hacer frescos y para cocinar, a veces compraba las vainas de tamarindo y otras veces pod\u00edamos encontrar fundas de pulpa de tamarindo. A veces se puede encontrar el jugo de tamarindo ya preparado, pero ojo que si ya lleva az\u00facar no hay que ponerle la panela o az\u00facar morena al seco \u2013 o se puede volver muy dulce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se puede encontrar las vainas de tamarindo en algunos supermercados. Otros acompa\u00f1antes para el seco de carne incluyen yucas, sancochadas o fritas, pl\u00e1tanos maduros fritos, cebollas curtidas o una ensaladita, rodajas de aguacate y aji criollo.<\/p>\n\n\n<div
