Pero la reposter\u00eda es modesta. Es decir, que fue creado por la clase aristocr\u00e1tica blanca criolla, que vivi\u00f3 entre los siglos XVII y XIX, en el pa\u00eds caribe\u00f1o; muy probablemente en la capital, Caracas. Las tortas de tipo\u201d Mar\u00eda Luisa\u201d, son tortas de capas alternadas, de frutas y bizcocho. Tal como su precursora, la torta burrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Variaciones de la Torta Mar\u00eda Luisa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta deliciosa torta con relleno de guayaba tambi\u00e9n se prepara en Colombia y en El Salvador. La variaci\u00f3n que se prepara en El Salvador lleva mermelada de naranja, no suele llevar crema pastelera o merengue. Tambi\u00e9n no podemos dejar de notar que esta torta tiene cierto parecido con la famosa torta inglesa Victoria Sponge cake \u2013 que se volvi\u00f3 popular en los a\u00f1os recientes con el Great British Baking Show. Sin embargo, el t\u00e9rmino \u201cTorta Mar\u00eda Luisa\u201d, tiene un referente gastron\u00f3mico bastante m\u00e1s amplio, y este mismo t\u00e9rmino es usado para referir a un grupo de tortas, hechas en capas y rellenas de mermelada de frutas, y decoradas con merengue. Las tres recetas b\u00e1sicas m\u00e1s populares de la torta Mar\u00eda Luisa en Venezuela son las siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"list-style-type:1\">\n<li>Tradicional: Es la versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s ampliamente difundida, y se trata de una torta de capas, que son rellenadas alternativamente de crema pastelera, y jalea de guayaba.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/pastel-o-torta-de-guanabana\/\">Guan\u00e1bana<\/a>: Posee un \u00fanico relleno, de crema de guan\u00e1bana, e igualmente se decora de merengue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membrillo: Probablemente, la versi\u00f3n menos conocida. Los bizcochos los horneamos a temperatura baja (160\u00b0C o 320\u00b0F\/325\u00b0F) para que salgan planos y no se abomben en la parte superior.
