Por lo general el clima en la Sierra es templado, en especial durante el d\u00eda cuando hace sol, pero por las noches se vuelve frio, en especial cuando llueve. En este caso una chiva no es un animal, sino mas bien un bus antiguo, sin ventanas y sin puertas. Tiene la apariencia de una naranja peque\u00f1a y se usa en la preparaci\u00f3n de jugos, cocteles, helados, postres y platillos de carne (como los secos).<\/p>\n<p>Me ha resultado dif\u00edcil encontrar naranjillas frescas en Estados Unidos, he tenido la suerte de encontrarlos congelados en algunas ocasiones. Pero, el que se usa para el canelazo es el que tambi\u00e9n se conoce como punta o puro (porque no es anisado). Si esta fuera de Ecuador y no puede encontrar aguardiente ecuatoriano, le recomiendo usar la cachaca brasilera o el ron blanco, que tienen el sabor m\u00e1s cercano.<\/p>\n<p>Tanto el canelazo como el naranjillazo son deliciosos, pero al mismo tiempo son un poco traicioneros, se pueden tomar con mucha facilidad; lo cual puede resultar en un buen chuchaqui \u2013 o resaca. La cantidad de aguardiente que se agrega suele variar de acuerdo a quien lo prepara. Mi hermano tiene una estrategia interesante cuando prepara canelazo: la primera jarra que prepara tiene una cantidad moderada de aguardiente, pero las que siguen se ponen m\u00e1s fuertes\u2026as\u00ed que cuidado si \u00e9l les brinda un canelazo.<\/p>\n<p>Aqu\u00ed les incluyo las recetas para el canelazo y el naranjillazo, usted decide cual le gusta m\u00e1s.
