Su elaboraci\u00f3n es muy r\u00e1pida y econ\u00f3mica. Hay muchos puestos de comida que venden pasteles y empanadas por igual. Y cada negocio de pasteles que se respete, debe tener un ingente numero de salsas criollas para acompa\u00f1ar los pastelitos. Las m\u00e1s comunes son: salsa de ajo, que es una adaptaci\u00f3n de la salsa t\u00e1rtara; guasacaca, el guacamole venezolano, y por supuesto la salsa picante. Aunque es muy usual encontrar pasteles de carne molida, pollo guisado, carne mechada o jam\u00f3n y queso. Hacia los estados andinos: M\u00e9rida, T\u00e1chira y Trujillo se encuentran otros sabores. Las empanadas chilenas se hornean, y los pastelitos se fr\u00eden. Estos pastelitos tambi\u00e9n son similares a las <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laylita.com\/recetas\/empanadas-de-viento\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">empanadas de viento ecuatorianas<\/a>, que igualmente son fritas &#8211; aunque de tama\u00f1o mas grande, llevan relleno de queso y cebollita blanca &#8211; y se sirven con az\u00facar granulada encima. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los pastelitos colombianos y los venezolanos, la diferencia es muy poca. Cambian los rellenos, en Venezuela los pasteles de queso, se rellenan solo con queso. Primero se debe hacer la masa de harina de trigo. Esta masa con consistencia similar a la masa de pan se estira, y se corta en c\u00edrculos con un cortador de galletas. Con dos tapitas se hace un pastelito. Se coloca una tapa de base, el relleno, y otra tapa arriba. Se juntan presionando los bordes con un tenedor. Sin embargo, puedes hacer los pastelitos y guardarlos en el congelador crudos, separados por papel film o bolsas pl\u00e1sticas.
