El achiote es una semilla de color rojizo que se usa para dar color a muchos platos tradicionales latinos. El achiote tambi\u00e9n se conoce como uruc\u00fa, onoto, bixa orellana, y annatto (en ingl\u00e9s). El achiote se puede conseguir y usar tanto en semillas y en forma de polvo molido. En cambio, la carne colorada se distingue porque se usa bastante achiote de tal forma que no solo se reconoce por el color, pero tambi\u00e9n se siente claramente el sabor del achiote en la
